The very first LGB 2010 locomotive had the - now famous - red chassis, a black boiler, steam box, chimney and a green cab. From 1968 to 1974, it appeared in the black-and-white LGB catalogues released annually. These counted between 8 and 12 pages. In 1969, LGB realised they had gold in their hands and offered the 2010 with a smoke generator, the LGB 2010 D. The \u201cD\u201d model had a darker shade of green in the cab, as shown below.<\/p>\n
